AND OF THE JOURNEY
.the pokélab The Kikan Pokémon Lab is a very prestigious place, the only place allowed to give out starter Pokémon throughout the Kikan Region. The starters are the very beginning starters, along with a few specials like Starly, Buneary, and Pikachu. Professor Aoshin will be there no matter what, usually examining a cute little Pokémon to make sure they’re up to standards and to see if they acquired new moves while she has ordered her lab assistants to train them in the forest behind the Pokélab. .route one Route One is the closest route to the Kikan Pokélab, clean kept at the very beginning with some cobblestone, but it quickly disperses into dirt and small chunks of gravel due to the Pokémon there that happen to dig around a lot to find burrows, berries that have fallen from trees, and other objects that may catch their interest. Trainers also may dig there for some potions and antidotes some trainers may have lost along the way, but it’s pretty rare to find anything like that. There is a small field of tall, dry, yellow grass, where most Pokémon hide and thrive, such as Sentret, Pidgey, and Rattata, before this route, you are supplied with a Pokédex and a few things such as Pokéballs and a few Antidotes, but nothing more. The rest you have to discover and buy yourself!
.pokémon in the region: Normal type, some ground types. Moderator: Esper

.ame town Oh how depressing! In this town it always rains! Most of the people are usually happy though, being born here it seems easy to become happy no matter what. A lot of water Pokémon thrive here, and there are a few lakes here and there, but sadly, you can’t obtain a fishing rod here! You can usually find some Pokémon on land, but Magikarp, Goldeen, and Tentacool are all hiding at the bottom of the lakes. There isn’t a Gym Leader in this town surprisingly, and most people say that the gym had been shut down due to a fire of sorts and since it was raining all the time, they couldn’t repair it without the wood or metal rusting over time. What a pity huh? But there’s something interesting going on in this town…and Mr. Toko, a fisherman, isn’t telling anyone anything about it. Could it be in the lake? Oh well! Maybe when you have a fishing rod!
.gym leader: unavailable. .pokémon in the reigon: Water/Ground types, a few Sentret and Rattata, maybe a few bug Pokémon, but nothing more. Moderator: Esper

.route two Route Two is a very quiet area, quite creepy with all the trees around, if you had a Pokémon who had the ability to head butt something, you could get a Pineco to fall out of a tree! You will find many Weedle and Caterpies’ out here, along with some level. 5 Kakuna and occasionally, a very rare level. 7. Most people stock up on antidotes and potions in Ame Town, not wanting to have to revive their Pokémon at the last Pokécenter. There are a few trainers here who were training at the school, and a slight drizzle of rain comes and goes, they seem a bit out of place here, but you find out they are from the town ahead: Enmu Town, the town of the Mist. As you go farther along, some more dangerous characters with Goldeens’, Remoraids, and Tentacools’, it seems that in the next town there are fishing rods, but where?
.pokémon in the region: Water Pokémon, Normal types, and some poison/bug types (rare). Moderator: Esper

.enmu town Enmu Town is a very loud town, having to be such because of the mist, you’ll find a lot of Whismurs’ here and Loudreds’ by their trainer’s side, though you’ll only find a few wild ones, Rattata are back and very populous here, they’ve been very finicky watching over their new eggs and such, so don’t be surprised if you get in a battle with a few of the males. Bug catchers are populous here, often battling with Weedle and Caterpie. Of course, you can catch them now, and what’s this? There’s a fishing shop! But the rods are so expensive? How could you afford them? What’s this? Someone has taken over Enmu Mountain? Who could it be?
.gym leader: -open- .pokémon in the reigon: standard bug Pokémon, some standard normal types, water type Pokémon, but only for fishing. Moderator: Esper

.route three Route Three is closed off! There’s a young woman who won’t let you through due to the fact you don’t have a badge, and whenever you try to fight her, she seems to defeat you! She’s in the way to Enmu Mountain, which disgruntles many of the trainers who went off from Treebark town (Where you should have started out…a.k.a. The Pokélab). If you have your badge, she’ll challenge you, but make sure you’re strong enough!
.pokémon in the region: Grass/Poison Type, Whismur and Loudred are becoming more popular, but all of them flee before you have the chance to catch them. What could be going on? Moderator: Esper

.kanten town Kanten Town is a very blustery, sandy town, a complete contrast to the last two towns, a dry expanse of both prairie grass to the east and sandy terrain to the west. The first Contest arena is here, and many trainers decide to get the gym badges along the way, seeing no point in going through two Contest-less towns just to get to one. So they either stock up on Pokémon, battle Pokémon, or get the gym badges to show that they actually had traveled across the mountain trail and such. People here usually have a short temper, including the children, so try not to insult them or they’ll kick you in the shin…

.route four Route Four is just as blustery and noisy as the town behind it, though there isn’t as much sand, and it’s basically a yellow prairie where Spearow’s and Pidgey’s fly around and pick for small bug Pokémon that may wander. There seems to be an ominous music that passes through this area during the night, most people try to find the source, and are led to a small watering hole, though most of them are too afraid to look inside for the music gets scarier the closer you are. What could be making this music?

.hara town Hara Town is a very busy town, people are competing for Pokémon Contest Badges and Gym Badges, this place has many windmills and electrical Pokémon around, powering the whole town, it happens to have a lot of dry thunderstorms, and it was okay for the most part, but sometimes the prairie area there’s chaos with angry Pokémon who are tired of the thunderstorms lighting fire to their fields and homes. The Zangoose have been digging lately, and there’s the occasional water Pokémon darting around the area…what’s the mystery in this town?
.gym leader: -open- .pokémon in the region: Flying and Electric Types such as Level 20 Plusel and Minun, Swablu, and Altaria, and an occasional Level 18 Zangoose, the occasional Level 13 Maril and Level 20 Azumaril (RARE) Moderator: Esper

.route five Well what have we here? Fields of green? Or are the ghost Pokémon casting an illusion to trick you into thinking it's safe enough to well...run in to a tree? The ghost Pokémon are plentiful here, so there's no restrictions on catching things like Shuppet's and Gastly's. Feel free to go to the Safari Zone here and catch some Pokémon!
.pokémon in the region: Psychic types, Ghost types, like Abra, Gastly, Haunter, and Shuppets...and any other Pokémon that are of that type that aren't rare such as Mewtwo and Mew.... Moderator: Esper

.bikou town Bikou Town is a very gloomy town, even though the sun shines, you see everyone dressed in black or other various dark shades, carrying black umbrellas, even the Pokémon who have pose able thumbs carry umbrellas, though they are all very happy~ (‘cause you know they take their vitamin D supplements~) this town is fairly peaceful, and has a large boat called Kagami which has a large amount of nice Pokémon who will be happy to serve you beverages and food of any sort. I did say this town is nice…

.the S.S. Bishop This is a very popular ship that sends you across to the next gym through the ocean! If you don’t catch it, it won’t come back in a few months, and your ticket will be invalid! However, there is a complication with this ship, as it’s populated with ghost pokémon and trainer’s own pokémon, there come to be battles that constantly damage the ship’s living corridors! Oh how troublesome! Maybe you could report some of them for a reward?
.pokémon in the region: Psychic types, Ghost types, like Abra, Gastly, Haunter, and Shuppets...and any other Pokémon that are of that type that aren't rare such as Mewtwo and Mew....also unmatchable pokémon that belong to the trainers on the ship!
.route six Oh dear! You seemed to have missed the ship! You were given an HM for the move ‘Surf’ so you could travel to the next port where the ship stops to let the poor seasick travelers have a decent three hours on land! You’ll have problems getting there though, it’s said that there are violent Tentacruel and Tentacool around! Perhaps if you help one of the Seals or Dewgongs they’ll protect you along the way! They may even give you one of their eggs!
.pokémon in the region: Strictly water pokémon! Magikarp, Tentacruel and Tentacool, Seal, Dewgong, Dratini (RARE), (No deep sea creatures unless you have acquired the HM ‘Dive”! Moderator: Esper

.stardust town (1 sub-board) You’ve reached the town, but the boat isn’t there! There’s a few people who say it hadn’t arrived yet, but others say that they heard it depart not too long ago! There’s a special, curious looking cave with moaning of pokémon inside, could there be something going on? And what’s with the sky? It looks like there are stars in the middle of the day! How weird!
.pokémon in the region: Rock pokémon like Aron, Lunatone, Solrock, and a special pokémon down in the depths of the cave, where no one can see, perhaps you need to locate the TM Flash? Moderator: Esper

.route seven Back on the ocean! There seems to be some odd toxins in the water, so you’ve been given a boat to take to the next town, a brute Machop accompanies you to make sure that you stay on course, but he only looks brute, he’s actually a very nice pokémon! You’re dropped off at a beautiful town full of sweet pea and lilac! You’ve reached Kahen Town!
.pokémon in the region: Strictly water pokémon! Magikarp, Tentacruel and Tentacool, Seal, Dewgong, Dratini (RARE), (No deep sea creatures unless you have acquired the HM ‘Dive”! Moderator: Esper

.kahen Town Kahen is a very cheerful town, usually bustling with pokémon who seem to be shopping for their masters, perhaps these pokémon are smarter than most? Of course! There’s an actual school for pokémon here! To educate them in less than a week! Would you hang around and be patient enough to handle a whole week of sending your pokémon off to the school? Be warned! There’s some people who tend to steal the pokémon who tend to catch onto human customs quickly! So you should visit them every day to make sure that they’re safe!
.gym leader: -open- .pokémon in the region: Grass/Water pokémon, along with many other pokémon of all shapes and sizes! However, it seems that the farther you go into the town, there are more fire/lava pokémon! Could it be a slow transition to the next town? Moderator: Esper

.route eight It seems that your suspicions were correct, but the weather is far colder than you expected. Weak fire pokémon trudge around this route, giving off the impression that something bad has happened to this poor icy trail. But it’s nothing compared to the town that is ahead… old oaks are frozen solid, and you see a few pokémon trying to thaw them out for a warm place to stay. Perhaps you could help them!
.pokémon in the region: Weakened Fire type Pokémon, a few Rock pokémon, and a few Sand Types. There is an occasional Swinub, but they don’t seem to appear often. Moderator: Esper

.yougan town What happened to your suspicions? They went down the drain. Far down it. The town is caked in snow and ice, oaks are dripping with four foot long icicles, and they townspeople say that there hasn’t been a glimpse of sun for over a year. The fire pokémon have been given residence in nice, cozy houses, and fireplaces have been built to help them ‘charge’, and people have even given wild fire types residence in their own homes. They say that there had been this great experimenter in the mountains, who wanted it to snow on Christmas for a gift for the children, but the machine broke, and it had been eternal winter ever since. Maybe if you help them by going into the mountains on that pretty Arcanine then you may be rewarded with sunlight! The gym leader has closed their gym for a little while, until the sunlight has returned, so many trainers have been stuck here, or have traveled to the next gym for their Eight badge. Being patient has it’s reward!
.gym leader: -open- .pokémon in the region: Weakened Fire types. No more Rock pokémon, no sand types, and it seems that water pokémon and ice pokémon have started congregating and picking on the others! Perhaps there is some way to help? Moderator: Esper

.route ten Wait. Ten? What happened to nine? Apparently it has been blocked off by a really bad avalanche, and the fire pokémon were too weak to burn through it. Some people have tried to go through there, but soon came back shivering, and all of their pokémon had died due to other vicious, wild, Pokémon attacking them. So they had built another route not too far off from it, and have tried to get a few fire pokémon that were stronger to wander through and take care of it with a good melt or two for trainers. There’s an Arcanine that will escort you to the real route Ten, which is now called route Eleven.
.pokémon in the region: Weakened Fire type Pokémon, many Ice Pokémon. Be warned, they are not as friendly as you’d usually find. Though there seems to be rumors of a very nice Ice Pokémon in a cave near the end…they say that it will give you something of great value…if you can find it, that is. Moderator: Esper

.route eleven This route is a very quiet one, it seems that the weather is changing yet again as you start smelling sea salt. Strangely enough, the grass and snow have formed a perfect line, similar to a barrier with each other. Maybe there was something here…that you needed to take back to the next town to repair the machine up in the mountains? You are lead into the ocean on the route, a winding path of water leads into a small town…wow…it’s so cute!
.pokémon in the region: Stronger fire-types. Few grass types. It seems that there is a fair balance between all of the pokémon, besides Dark/Psychic types! Moderator: Esper
This town is so adorable! It almost makes you want to puke! The buildings look like they are gingerbread houses or from Sweden, and the people are so nice to you! It seems that everything is very peaceful, even the wild pokémon feel comfortable wandering through the town! It’s a great place to relax before you head out on the ocean again! There’s an abandoned building here with a small mystery behind it, they’ve said they hear weird cries of an unknown pokémon from within…perhaps it’s time to explore? Or continue on your way…
.pokémon in the region: Gentle pokémon of all types, save for Dark/Psychic types! They’re nowhere to be seen! (Other than in the abandoned building…) Moderator: Esper

.route twelve When you left Seion Town, everyone seemed so sad to let you go! They all wanted to give you gifts, but you only accepted the few (three) vials of potion that would also add some special quality to your pokémon. Perhaps their appearance will change? Or maybe a new ability will be added onto their list…maybe a fifth…instead of getting only four abilities, and having to kick it off once! You set out onto the ocean again, heart set on becoming the next Pokémon champion!
.pokémon in the region: Strictly Water types. Ice types have vanished. No fire types may be used in battle along water unless they have the ability to fly! Moderator: Esper

.elite towers What a gorgeous tower…it was a pristine white, with small flecks of grey that shone silver in the sunlight. Most would be in awe, if the people of the village surrounding it weren’t used to it. The battles are a bit odd now a days, the Physic room levitates, and if your pokémon fall off, they’re returned to your pokeball, and you can’t use them for the rest of the battle. The Water/Ice room is a staircase that winds higher and higher, and fills up with water, so you have to keep moving upwards… the Electric/Fire room is surrounded by pits of fire…and the Metal/Ground room looks like it used to be a building of sorts, but is broken down…and charred…wait…isn’t that the description of that first town?! Why are you back there for the last battle? And why did the people of the town lie to you?
.leaders: Physic/Dark Type: -open- Water/Ice Type: -open- Electric/Fire Type: -open- Metal/Ground Type: -open- .pokémon in the region: None other than those of the gym leaders.
